Tip of the Week
Look here each Monday for a new tip to make entertaining a snap.
Guarantee Yourself Time to Party
One of the worst mistakes a hostess can make is planning a menu that requires her to be in the kitchen cooking throughout her party. You didn't invite guests over just to serve them food, did you? No, you wanted to spend time enjoying their company.
To make sure this doesn't happen to you at your next party, plan a menu that can be almost completely cooked in advance and simply re-heated when your guests arrive. Have no more than two recipes, and one is even better, that need last minute preparation. Then you can knock-out your guests with your personality and not with your kitchen perspiration.
