The WWDC was all about application demos for the iPhone

It was only last March when Apple Inc. unveiled the software development kit for their iPhone. During the launch, there were five developers who demonstrated what they can do with the tool even if they only have a limited exposure with the SDK. Amazingly, they created native applications that will work with the iPhone.

But that demo was just the opening act for the WWDC held last June 9. During the Monday’s keynote, not only that the CEO of Apple, Steve Jobs, revealed the highly-anticipated second-generation iPhone, the company also demonstrated few of the applications that can be used on the upcoming iPhone. The iPhone will be on the market on July 11 this year.

And if you weren’t able to watch the coverage of the WWDC’s keynote, here are some of the applications that were demonstrated that definitely attracted customers to save up and buy the latest 3G iPhone.
Last March, Sega demonstrated their native application for the iPhone. They also did the same thing as it showed off the game it created for the iPhone. But there are new improvements made that were not shown last March. The iPhone game from Sega is called Super Monkey Ball which will cost only $10. Sega will launch Super Monkey Ball by the time App Store is already up and running in July.

Next is the demonstration for the eBay. Unlike the mobile game, the eBay application for the iPhone would not cost the consumers anything.
Third is the application called Loopt. This is a social network service that allows you to see the location of your friends and what are they doing.
