By the time Apple Inc. is making some innovations on the iPhone, they are also thinking at the same time that the consumers are probably tired of using their iPhones for the same reasons such as surfing the internet, sending SMS, making phone calls or even listening to their favorite music.
During its keynote last Monday, Steve Jobs gave a peek of some of the thousands of available native applications that can be used on the 3G iPhone starting from July 11. These applications range from tools for medicine students and professionals to mobile games.
According to Charles Golvin from the Forrester Research, this strategy from the Apple made the 3G iPhone more enticing to its potential customers. Because of these native applications, the consumers have now more reasons to buy the next-generation.
The native applications will only be distributed on the App Store which will be launched on July 11, the same day that the 3G iPhone will be available in the market. The software update will require no fee for those who are using iPhones. However, users of iPod touch will have to pay $9.95 for the software update.
One of the new applications created for the 3G iPhone include the Super Monkey Ball from Sega which will cost $9.99 only. And because of the motion sensors and the device’s touch screen, 3G iPhone users can easily maneuver themselves in the 3D world.
