Real Zaragoza "snatches" Ayala From Villareal

Big news, Argentine Captain & defender ROBERTO FABIAN AYALA
(pictured on the far left) will sign for REAL ZARAGOZA after the latter
paid the 6M€ of the release clause in the VILLAREAL compromise.

Heres the run down. Ayala signed with Villareal after Valencia
& the player did´nt come to a deal to renew his contract. Villareal
put a release clause of on 6M€ expecting that the last thing that would
happen would be that another club come & pay for a 34 year old player.
Zaragoza was "desperately" looking for a top class defender after
Gabi Milito went to FC Barcelona. The solution ? Pay the 6M€
& get the player over - problem solved! The new contract is for 3 years
with Real Zaragoza & it seems at a "bargain price".
SFS imagines that Villareal will now be kicking themselves.
