Today, let's meet K.D. Aubert, a glamour model and actress originally from Shreveport, Louisiana but now living in Los Angeles, California. Born Karen Denise Aubert, she was a self-described tomboy as a child, spending a lot of time playing football and other sports with boys in her neighborhood. She went to San Diego State University and she played on the Aztec softball team. However, her modeling career began when she was discovered working behind the make-up counter at Macy's. She landed modeling gigs for Victoria's Secret, Noxzema, Frederick's of Hollywood, Escada and other products. Aubert is also one of the four original Fantanas, a female group of spokesmodels appearing in TV commercials for the soft drink Fanta. Her gigs as one of the Fantanas led to her being featured in Maxim magazine, as well as Smooth and Playboy magazines.
Her acting career began when she hosted the MTV game show
Kidnapped before making her big screen debut as a harlot in the 2002 film
The Scorpion King. She later appeared in the movies
Friday After Next, Hollywood Homicide, Soul Plane and
In The Mix as well as landing bit roles in the television series
Buffy The Vampire Slayer and
Bones. She has also appeared in music videos for P. Diddy, Fabolous, and Lloyd Banks.
K.D. has recently wrapped up filming for the movie
Surfer, Dude, starring Matthew McConaughey, which is scheduled for release in 2008. She also has branched out into music, recording tracks for an album she is producing herself.
