BOULDER MOUNTAIN LAKES UT fishing

BOULDER MOUNTAIN LAKES UT: All areas of the mountain, including the Boulder Top, are now accessible. There have been many reports of good fishing in Fish Creek Lake and Beaver Dam Reservoir. Reports have come in of fair to good fishing in many other areas. If fishing is slow at one lake, move on to another. A few lakes have experienced some winter kill, but this is normal. Even when you see some dead fish, don't assume that all the fish in the lake died. For brook trout, Try using dark-colored marabou jigs and woolly buggers. You'll also have more success by fishing near structures such as floating logs, submerged grass, large boulders and undercut banks. Special regulations on many of the Boulder Mountain waters include a trout limit of four, of which only two fish may be over 14 inches.
