As the final step in my integration into the
Email Experience Council, I just completed moving the last of my research reports over to the
EEC Whitepaper Room, where they are available for free to platinum members and at a discount to silver and gold members. So now you can find my
retail benchmark studies on refer-a-friend programs, send-to-friend programs, welcome emails and subscription practices in the Whitepaper Room—where in the months ahead they’ll be joined by reports on animation in emails, unsubscribe practices and the next versions of the subscription and welcome email studies.
To provide even greater value to our members, I have also moved most of my
reportlets into the Whitepaper Room, where they are available at no cost to all EEC members. Reportlets on retailers’ use of video in their emails, their use of web 2.0 tools, their use of their newsletters for recruiting, and their use of special deal-of-the-day email series over the holiday season—each with numerous examples of creatives—are now in the Whitepaper Room. And another two or three reportlets will be added each month on a range of topics regarding retail email marketing.
If you’re not already a member of the Email Experience Council, I would strongly encourage you to join. You can learn more about membership by
clicking here. In addition to gaining access to all my reports, you get the many other reports the EEC generates, gain valuable networking opportunities, can join our
marketing roundtables, and get discounts to conferences like the upcoming eTail UK 2007 show, among many other benefits. It’s an investment that pays for itself very quickly.
If you have any questions about membership, please let me know.
