Say hello to Mr. Bluelight…or is it Mr. Blue Light? It’s a little unclear on the landing page reached from this email, which introduces the spokescharacter to subscribers for the first time. The landing page also includes video clips of the light bulb in action.

As an aside, with this email, Sears Holding Co., Kmart’s parent company, has injected itself into Kmart’s emails again (see March 19 AM Inbox). I still don’t understand why they’re using the holding company’s name as a brand, and why they would want to blur the line between the Sears with Kmart brands.
